          black & your choice (highly recommend French or Italian sepia drawing ink

               such as Sennelier walnut shellac ink

     -     Brushes of various types & sizes: flats, mops, bamboo

     -     Calligraphy pen / staff & nibs of various types & sizes

     -     Calligraphy felt tip pens / brush pens

     -     Ball point pens

     -     H or 2H pencil

     -     Your choice of papers:  parchment, Yupo, Dura-Lar, Chinese papers,

               Bristol (vellum or smooth)

     -     Cold or hot pressed WC papers

Watercolor/ gouache

     - a Crayola watercolor set from the grocery is just fine

     - watercolor pencils

     - Lukas or other watercolor sets are on-line

     -      Brushes of various types & sizes

     -     Your choice of papers:  hot pressed (Bristol) or cold pressed (watercolor) rag papers,

               Yupo or prepared or found papers, etc

Misc:

- Crayolas / China markers

     -     Pastel / Conté

     -     water soluble graphite:
