Substitute's Fee:  $43.00 per 3 hour class

When you accept an offer to sub, make a note of the date, time and the person’s name for whom you are subbing in your calendar. You pay the person for whom you are subbing in cash or by check. Ask them how they prefer to be paid. Some students may ask you to mail your payment to them; otherwise, they may ask you to leave it with me.

When you are contacted to sub, please respond either way (yes or unavailable) ASAP.

If you have a preference as to how students contact you, please let me know and I will note that on the sub list. They will then either call, email or text.

VIP:  Check your calendar carefully when you are asked to sub. If you agree to sub for a student, you have a verbal agreement with that student to work in their place and to pay them even if you are unable to attend class.

Should you need a sub, call or text me ASAP (214-336-6379) and I will give you the names and contact info for a sub for you. It is much harder to find a sub at the last minute or even a couple of days before. This system is not foolproof; there is no guarantee that a sub may be available.
